Our family began September 24, 1983. Brian and Karen were married in the Los Angeles LDS Temple in Santa Monica, Calif. Our rececption was held at the LDS ward building located on the corner of Muirlands Blvd. and Los Alisos. We meant at this chapel so it just seemed a good place to hold the reception. We took pictures in the park across the street from the chapel before the reception. We served lunch meats, rolls, salads, and vegies to those that came to wish us well. Our cake was four teirs. Two tiers, were carraot cake with pineapple filling and two were chocolate with chocolate mousse filling. We didn't stand in the traditional "recieving line" because although we had planned to, we sat down to eat and then people started showing up and then my dad made have our "first dance" and then we all just mingled. It was alot of fun. Kim Gustafson made it at the very end. She and her husband were both high on pot, but it was still good seeing her.
